1940 – 2026

Alice went to meet her Lord on October 26, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 86 years old.

Alice was born in Alleghany to Jason and Hazel Davis. She grew up in Grass Valley, where she graduated from Nevada Union High School.

Alice spent many years as a bank teller for First Interstate Bank. Following retirement, Alice and her husband Roger traveled the world. They were definitely foodies who enjoyed experiencing other cultures and cuisines.

Alice’s greatest love was her family. She was the most happy when she could take her grandsons, Jason Patton, Austin Crumb, and Cody Crumb, on road trips. She would load the fifth wheel RV and off they would go for adventures. There was always an exciting story to tell when they returned.

Alice is survived by her daughter Tracy Secord, stepdaughter Dena McLaren and her husband Allan; 3 grandsons and sister Cathy Thompson, G.V; and nephew Kevin Gaines, G.V.

Alice is preceded in death by parents; husband Roger Kirkham; son Dean Tamietti; and sister Connie Gaines.

Alice spent her last year at Atria, assisted living facility. She enjoyed all the activities and making new friends. She also attended Grace Lutheran Church in GV which brought her comfort.

A special thank you to the medical staff of Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for the care given to our beloved Annie for her end of life journey.

A graveside burial will be held at Greenwood Memorial Gardens on November 23, 2026 at 1 pm.
