Patricia Ann Mangini passed away on October 2, 2026 at Golden Empire Convalescent Hospital. She was 96 years old.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Pat was born on January 20, 1930 in Oakland, CA to Marguerite and Charles McDonald. She attended Oakland public schools, where she met the love of her life, Al Mangini. They were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oakland on January 8, 1950. Her only child was born on January 25, 1953 and she loved him with all of her heart. The family settled in Walnut Creek, CA and lived there for 30 years. After retirement Al and Pat moved to Grass Valley CA to be close to their son Al, his wife Robin and granddaughters Jennifer and Michelle.

Pat lived a busy life with family, grandchildren great-grandchildren and being caregiver to her husband who she was married to for 56 years. In her later years, she traveled, line danced, and volunteered at Golden Empire Convalescent Hospital.

She loved gardening, traveling with the Road Runners and the Red Hat Ladies. She also loved line dancing and spending time with her family and friends.

Pat was a very sweet and caring person who was loved by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Al and Robin Mangini, granddaughters Jennifer and Michelle Mangini, great-grandchildren Josh Haut, Jake Haut, and Anne Mangini, brother-in-law Dave Matanane and many nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Marguerite and Charles McDonald, husband Al and sister Charlotte Matanane.
