Audrey McIntosh, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away suddenly on Sunday morning, May 31, 2026, at her home while getting ready for church. She was 75 years old.

Audrey was born on October 12, 1950, in San Francisco, California, to Kenneth and Edna Brown. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Brown.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Bill McIntosh of Grass Valley; her sons, Joe McIntosh and his wife, Ayanna, and Steven McIntosh; her mother, Edna Spooner Brown; and her three cherished grandsons, Samuel, Matthew, and Ethan.

Raised in San Francisco, Audrey attended San Francisco State University, where she was an active member of a sorority. She married the love of her life, Bill McIntosh, on April 24, 1976, in San Francisco. Audrey worked for many years with the telephone company in the Bay Area. Following Bill’s retirement from PG&E, they made their home in Grass Valley.

For more than ten years, Audrey and Bill faithfully attended and served at Simple Truth Church Grass Valley. Audrey loved her church family and generously shared her time and many spiritual gifts, including hospitality, encouragement, mercy, compassion, empathy, evangelism, and making everyone feel welcome.

Above all, Audrey loved the Lord her God with all her heart, with all her soul, and with all her mind. She also loved her neighbors as herself. Audrey had complete confidence in her salvation and she knew she was going to heaven one day. Her greatest desire was to take as many people with her to heaven as she could by sharing the hope of Jesus Christ.

Audrey will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her servant’s heart, her unwavering faith, and her deep love for others. She touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and genuine care for people. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, friendship, and love that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Celebration of Life Potluck will take place Sunday, June 28, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. which is immediately following the 10:00 a.m. church service.
