Danny Cordova, age 57, passed away peacefully at his home on August 24th, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, September 8th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Hooper & Weaver Mortuary, 459 Hollow Way, Nevada City. A Rosary will be recited at 9:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 235 Chapel Street, Grass Valley, CA. Graveside Services will follow at New Elm Ridge Cemetery, Kidder Ave., Grass Valley.

Danny was born on January 18th, 1968 in Los Angeles, CA to Olivia Cervantes and Francisco Cordova. He spent his early years in Los Angeles before moving to Grass Valley, where he would later make his home. In 1988, Danny met Tammy where they had three children and have welcomed five grandchildren along the way. Danny worked as a tradesman for 35 years and eventually purchased a local company in the trade which he proudly ran alongside his family.

Danny had a deep love for the outdoors. He cherished camping trips with family and friends and enjoyed exploring on his ATV, always seeking out new adventures.

He will be missed deeply and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by Tammy, his children Daniel Cordova, Mikey Cordova, and Cierra Cordova; his grandchildren, Maya Cordova, Nova Cordova, Ciro Cordova and Alijah Durant; his mother Olivia Cervantes; his siblings Becky Montoya, Frank Cordova, Mario Cordova, and David Cordova; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Cordova and grandson Aero Cordova.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper & Weaver Mortuary.
