Patricia Ann (Pat) Werner, maiden name Patricia Ann Henry, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, in Grass Valley, California. She was 98 years old.

Pat was born on August 28,1926 to Eldon and Mallie Henry in Casper, Wyoming.

Pat graduated from Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri in 1945.

She moved to Boulder, Colorado where she met her future husband Richard Walter (Dick) Werner and they were married on June 27,1946 in South Dakota. Pat was 19 years old.

They relocated to Berkeley, California where she worked for Cutter Labs. They moved to Danville, California where they raised their 5 children.

They moved to Italy in 1974 where they spent 3 years living and working, learning the language and enjoying the Italian culture and people.

Eventually they built a home in Nevada City where they retired. Pat was very active in the League of Women Voters. Their children and 10 grandchildren enjoyed visiting frequently.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dick Werner, who died at age 86, and her youngest daughter, Judy Ann Werner, who died at age 15.

She is survived by her 4 children, Larry Werner, Linda Knight, JoEllen Werner, and Nancy Conway. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Eskaton Village, in the Crafters Courtyard room, 625 Eskaton Circle, Grass Valley, CA 95945, from 2pm to 3pm on Sunday, July 27, 2025
