Cynthia “Cyndi” Anne Minchew Pearce passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the age of 67. She was born on November 6, 1958, in San Diego, California, to John (Sam) Roy Minchew Jr. and Nancy Jo Wilson.

Cyndi lived her life caring for those she held dear. She had a unique gift for making everyone feel like family. Friends of her kids and grandkids quickly became her own, and grew up calling her “Mom”, “Momo,” or “Grandma Cyndi.”

Cyndi loved a good joke, snarky comment, and a laugh. She could turn even the most mundane chore into an adventure, transforming everyday life into something magical. Cyndi was also a talented cook who found true joy in feeding others. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter, and delicious home-cooked meals. She especially loved teaching her grandchildren the joy of cooking, often with an apron tied around her waist and a smile on her face.

She leaves behind a large and loving circle of people who are proud to call her mom, grandma, sister, daughter, and friend. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of warmth, humor, and unconditional love will live on in all who knew her.

A memorial service to celebrate Cyndi’s life will be held at Hooper and Weaver on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 2 pm.
