December 22, 1943 -June 20, 2025

Connie Sharp (Scearce) passed away in Grass Valley, CA on June 20, 2025, at the age of 81 surrounded by her family. Born in Kansas City, MO on December 22, 1943, to James and Gwen Scearce. She spent her childhood in Kansas City. She attended Shawnee Mission North High School where she met the “love of her life”, Bill Sharp. They were high school sweethearts and they married on September 25, 1960.

Connie and Bill welcomed their daughter Kimberly Kay on May 6, 1966. Their son William Christopher was born on June 14, 1969.

In 1973, the family moved to Littleton, Colorado. Connie along with her mom duties worked at Ranch Mart as a merchandiser and was an avid tennis player. In the mid 70’s the family moved to Pleasanton, CA. She worked at North American Van Lines receiving many accolades and awards for her achievements.

After visiting Grass Valley, California, Connie and Bill wanted to retire and build their forever dream home.
Connie always enjoyed her family the most! Connie was active at church and developed many loving friendships. She also enjoyed being with her many loving friends and neighbors.

Connie is survived by her daughter Kimberly (Rich) Nessinger; daughter-in-law April Bernhardt; grandsons: Zac (Katie) Nessinger, Joe (Sarah) Nessinger; great-grandchildren: Brody, Weston, Christopher, Lily, and Eleanor. Her sister-in-law Karman (John) White and all her cousins, nieces and nephews.

Connie is preceded in death by her husband Bill of 65 years; her son Christopher; her parents Jim & Gwen Scearce; her brother Mike, Grandparents Albert & Helen Trail, Clarence & Naohm Coop.
