Our dear mom, Patricia May Bristow, passed from this earthly life into the arms of her Heavenly Father on February 1, 2023.  She was 96.  She was born on July 27, 1926, in North Hollywood, Ca. Pat met the love of her life, Bob Bristow, in high school and they were married shortly after the war.  Mom loved her home and was devoted to her family and an ever-increasing circle of friends.  She was happiest when hosting and cooking for her “brood,” the more the merrier!  She made it all look so easy, even while camping!

Pat was a lover of life and a lifelong learner. She was an incredibly talented gardener, woodworker, crafter, quilter and cook. She was no slouch on her John Deer, either!  She provided a loving home for her many “fur babies” throughout her life and took much joy watching the wildlife just outside her front door.

“Grama Pat” will be missed and remembered fondly by many and is survived by her son Mike (Diane) Bristow and her daughter Terry Sue Chapman; grandsons Patrick (Jennifer) Bristow, Will (Katie) Simmons and Bobby (Laura) Simmons; and 8 Great-Grands!

She was predeceased by Bob, her loving husband of 48 years.

Please join us in celebrating the life of this lovely lady, April 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Hooper and Weaver Mortuary in Nevada City.  Refreshments back at the house, just as she would have loved!
