Ronald Russell Perdue passed away on March 21, 2026. He was born in Oakland, CA on July 20, 1943. He was 82 years old.

Ron was a beloved husband, father, teacher, coach, and missionary. He devoted decades of his life to serving in Istanbul, Turkey, where he taught, coached, and shared his faith openly.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; his children, Mark, Kristi, Matthew and Joy; and his eight grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4pm on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Please email to mariascheesecakes@gmail.com to RSVP by June 8.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to help sponsor his daughter Joy as she runs the Chicago Marathon in Ron’s honor, raising funds for the Ronald McDonald House of Charity. He would be so proud to see her run.
