Robert Harvey Radoff

With broken hearts, we announce that Robert Harvey Radoff passed away just a couple weeks into his 75th year of life.

My mother (Paula Radoff) and father have been partners in life since they were 15 years old. Retiring from decades of lineman work with the city and county of San Francisco, he spent the last year’s of his life focusing on his cats, yard, friends, family, duck hunting, boat rides on Scott’s Flat and his vintage VW collection. He continually reconnected with old friends that were nearing their time of death and was a great source of comfort and company to many people.

My brother (Robbie Radoff) and I miss our father dearly as do his five grandsons.

No one will ever replace his kindred spirit, incredible sense of humor, obnoxious practical jokes and his sometimes hard way of loving us. He was kind, taking care of local homeless folks making sure they knew they were seen.

He loved to complain about yardwork and then do yardwork. He was a collector of many things, a constant seeker and hunter of objects.

He was a hero to his grandsons, Cody, Nolan, Mason, RJ and Logan.

The only regret is not having more time with you, Dad. We know you will continue to watch over us just as you did when you were here. We will be there for Momma. We will “Watch ourselves” This is where you would hang up on me. As always, you got the last laugh.
