Reese James

Reese James

March 25, 1940 – February 9, 2026

“Up, sluggard, and waste not life; in the grave there will be sleeping enough!” Benjamin Franklin was one of Reese James’ lifelong guiding principles. It inspired him to think outside the box, follow his interests, and live a life less ordinary.

On February 9, he charted a new path into the great unknown. Always the spirited pilot, after every successful landing he would say “Tempted fate and cheated death again.”

Soar high, Reese and happy adventuresome travels.
