December 11, 1951 – October 7, 2025

Paul Reynolds left us on October 7, 2025, at the age of 73. A stroke took him unexpectedly.

He was the oldest child of Delbert and Julia Reynolds, who gave him four younger sisters to protect and annoy, in equal parts, and always with love. The family finally settled, after years of travel abroad, outside of Grass Valley when Paul was young. After years away at school and in Silicon Valley, he returned and raised his own family there.

In addition to his career in programming and electronics, he relished new experiences, eclectic media, the oddities of space, and the beauty of the natural world. He especially enjoyed studying birds and sharing that knowledge on walks with friends and family. He gave generously of his time and resources to those he loved. He was inquisitive, opinionated, and had a very dry sense of humor. The children of the family loved to play his made up games and hear his silly stories.

He enjoyed the world and lived a full life. He leaves behind his children Laurel and Jeffrey and their families; his siblings Ellen, Sara, Martha, and Anna and their families; and numerous other cherished relatives and friends. We love and miss him more than words can tell.
