Born in Minneapolis Minnesota, moved to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1952. Married Judith Price 1958. Moved to Southern California 1959. Moved to Northern California 1994.

Jim had many jobs while waiting to get on to the Fire Department. His proudest day was when he became a Los Angeles County Fireman. He worked his way up to Engineer, then Captain, and retired in 1994.

Jim was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa, and great grandpa. He carried Jelly Beans in his pocket for the great grandchildren.

He left us because of a hospital error while receiving treatment at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento. Gone too soon, all he took with him was love.
