Jonelle Kinch

Jonelle Kinch, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in Grass Valley, California, on September 25, 2025, with her family by her side. She was 54 years old.

Born on December 17, 1970, to Debra Austin and Robert Cooper, Jonelle grew up with a warm spirit and a gift for connecting with others. She later married the love of her life, Kevin Kinch, and together they built a life rooted in devotion, laughter, and family. Jonelle now joins Kevin in eternal rest.

Jonelle bravely fought a long battle with breast cancer, showing remarkable strength, grace, and courage throughout. She is survived by her three daughters, Kerina, Kesleigh, and Kayda; her cherished granddaughter, Averie; and her siblings, Colten Gould and Cameo Thompson.

During the last year of her life, Jonelle found companionship and joy with Billy McCombs, whose love and support brought her comfort, laughter, and happiness in her final days.

For more than 30 years, Jonelle worked as a hairstylist in Grass Valley, where her talent and kindness made a lasting impact on her community. Her salon chair was not only a place of beauty but also one of friendship, comfort, and connection.

Jonelle will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her dedication to her craft, and the light she brought into every life she touched. Her legacy of love and kindness lives on through her daughters, granddaughter, siblings, and the many friends who will cherish her memory.

A celebration of Jonelle’s life will be held in the spring for close family and friends.
