Kathrine Mary Montano passed away on April 6, 2025. She was 63.

Kathrine was born on October 21, 1961, in San Mateo, California to William and Edwina Haruff. Kathrine graduated from Sequoia High School in Redwood City, California. She married Richard Montano on July 12, 1980 in California. They were married for 45 years. Kathrine worked for Tangle Wood Forest in Nevada City, California. She was also a homemaker to her husband and children. She loved classic rock, reading and cooking.

Kathrine is survived by her husband, Richard Montano of Nevada City, California, son Gary Montano (Terrah) of Nevada City, California, daughter Melinda Montano, son-in-law Michael Floyd Goodlett, granddaughter Elithea Montano, step-father Dennis Pyle and mother Edwina Pyle.

Kathrine will be missed by all.

The family will hold a private service.
