December 8, 1959 to March 6, 2024

Larry, passed away suddenly at the age of 64 with his devoted wife by his side. Larry was a lifelong resident of Nevada County, Born to Helen Ivey and Charles Stowe.

Larry had many interests and hobbies as a young boy. Bicycles, motorcycles, and Hot Wheels, oh my! That love became a long-lasting interest. As Larry would explore his world; anything with tires meant freedom.

Larry as a young man found out early that Camaro’s were not only a muscle car, it totally transformed his identity to Camaro Larry. It all started with a green 69 convertible Camaro. The buying, selling, trading, and restoration led him into a continuing love affair that many admired.

Larry was a Glazier/Window Washer that would span 35+ yrs.

In 1983 Larry met Cindy, she walked alongside him and took on all passions and pursuits for 40+ years. This bond and marriage of longevity was strong and visible to everyone. Larry and Cindy raised their beautiful daughter Samantha, was his pride and joy.

The Stowe Family had countless adventures and joys which included traveling (especially to Bonneville Salt Flats), entering numerous car shows, swap meets, beach trips to go crabbing, and trips to be with family and friends for celebrations large and small. This is just a glimpse into his life. It was full.

His greatest delight was his grandchildren, he was known as Papa.

Larry had a heart for the aging community around him. He would not hesitate to act when someone needed help. This is a testament of the man Larry was; fun, serious, loving, kind, loyal and spoke his truth.

He is survived by Cindy; daughter, Samanatha; grandchildren (Mahaila, Kali, and Colby); step-mother, Mom Penny; sister’s Tina, Kim, and Cynthia; and brothers Jim and Dale. He will be missed and loved by us all.
