Debbie Prisk Olsen

General Manager and Funeral Director
debbie@hooperandweaver.com

Debbie has a special gift for helping families through difficult times. You might say it’s a calling passed down through the generations. Her great-grandfather, George West, was a casket builder who moved to Colfax in 1903 and later started a funeral business. His son, Francis, owned funeral homes in Colfax and Auburn, and welcomed Leonard Prisk into the family business when Leonard married Francis’ daughter, Marilyn. The daughter of Leonard and Marilyn, Debbie is now general manager of Hooper & Weaver – where she has the opportunity every day to positively impact people’s lives. She does this in a caring, comfortable way that is remembered and cherished by those she touches in time of sorrow.

In her spare time, Debbie is a member of Grass Valley Ladies Relief Society, Native Daughters of the Golden West, Manzanita Parlor # 29 and Friends of Nevada County Military.
