The survivor of the deceased who is handling the funeral arrangements, or the responsible party, is entitled to receive, prior to drafting of any contract, a copy of any agreement that has been signed and paid for, in full or in part, by or on behalf of the deceased, and that is in the possession of the funeral establishment.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide our customers.  You may choose only those items you desire.  However, any funeral arrangement you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead.   If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reasons in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.  This list does not include prices for certain items that you may ask us to buy for you, such as cemetery property, ground or air transportation out of the immediate area, flowers and newspaper notices.  The prices for these items will be shown on your statement describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

 “Prior to drafting any contract for goods or services, the responsible party or the decedent’s survivor who is handling the funeral arrangements is entitled to receive a copy of any preneed agreement in the possession of the funeral establishment that has been signed and paid for, in full or in part, by or on behalf of the decedent.” 

PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
a.Services of Funeral Director and Staff
This is a basic fee that we charge every family for our professional expertise in assisting them with their preference.  It includes a proportionate share of the taxes, licenses, utilities and business expenses required to serve the public.  Our charge include, but is not limited to, availability 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, consultation with the family, administrative and clerical service, preparation of the death certificate for certification of the attending physician or coroner, necessary permits, filing of the death certificate with appropriate agencies, consultation with clergy, cemetery, crematory or common carrier, assistance with insurance papers, and placement of newspaper notices.  There will be a charge for each service requested or required.  This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select.  (This fee is already included in our charges for cremation packages, burial packages, and forward or receiving the remains)						          $1495.00

b.Embalming								$550.00
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law.  Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing.  If you do no want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct cremation or immediate burial.  Embalming is the disinfection and temporary chemical preservation of the remains by a professions licensee of the State of California.

c.Other Preparation of the Body
i.) This service includes dressing, cosmetics, personal details, casketing		$300.00
ii.) Direct Burial/Cremation Viewing (up to one hour use of viewing room, setting of features, combing hair and disinfection preparation). No embalming		$225.00
iii.) Refrigeration (after 48 hours, per day)						$120.00
Iv.) Special care of autopsied remains						$125.00

Forwarding of Remains to another Funeral Home			$1,895.00
The charge includes 24 hour/two person transfer of the decedent from place of death (ten-mile radius) to the funeral home, basic service of the Funeral Director and Staff, 
embalming, and transfer to the airport.

Receiving of Remains from another Funeral Home			$1,695.00
The charge includes basic service of the Funeral Director and Staff and transfer from Sacramento Airport to Funeral Home and then to local (ten-mile radius) 
place of disposition.  Note: Price does not include visitation, funeral, memorial service, graveside service, casket or cremation.

Basic Burial Package (Embalming, Visitation, Graveside) 	$3,450.00
This package includes the Basic Service of Funeral Director and Staff fee, transfer of decedent from place of death to funeral home (24 hour-15 mile radius), Embalming, Dressing and Casketing of Remains, Cosmetology and hairdressing, Use of Facilities and Staff for Visitation (10:00 a.m. to & 5:00 p.m. o0r any part thereof), Deluxe Memorial Package (includes choice of Deluxe Memorial Tribute Book, 100 Service Folders, 50 Acknowledgement Cards) funeral coach transportation to the cemetery (15-mile-radius), Use of Equipment and Staff 
for a Graveside Service.  Does not include casket, flowers, limousine cemetery expenses or cash advances.
