Forest View Cemetery

True to its name, this beautiful cemetery is surrounded by forested land that provides a peaceful setting for those buried and interred here. Located just outside of downtown Nevada City on Red Dog Road, Forest View Cemetery offers a selection of plots for single or double interment of caskets or urns.

The entry road to the cemetery rises along a gentle hill that leads to a prominent flag pole and monument dedicated in loving memory to absent brothers and wishes them sleep and peace. During Memorial Day Weekend, numerous American flags decorate the graves of the fallen.
